While at work, and I checked the weather multiple times, I had to quick run out during a short down pour. Sure the interior got wet with no doors and no top but it could have been much worse! Last year I purchased one of the Gen 2 toppers. It is good for what it is especially at the price point. This year however I went with the original. It's tried and true with perfect fitment, quick install and a higher weight capacity on the deck....plus zero chance of rattles. Sometimes the original is just the best
